We have long had our hearts set on one day hosting a retreat at this exquisite palazzo. What a dream it will be to gather at this one-of-a-kind boutique hotel in Gagliano del Capo, Puglia ! Palazzo Daniele is an artist guesthouse housed within a 163-year-old aristocratic palazzo and former family residence. The hotel’s majestic yet minimalist interiors draw attention to the grandeur of the palazzo’s original frescoes and mosaic floors, creating a dramatic backdrop for the property’s contemporary art collection. The property is abundant with enchanting spaces for relaxation and connection — whether by the living room fireplace, unwinding in the spa and pool, or enjoying an aperitivo beneath the orange trees in one of its tranquil courtyards.

The Palazzo employs local cooks rather than industry chefs and ingredients are sourced from the property’s garden and locally from the region. Here, four women with strong generational roots in the Salento, make you feel as if you’ve stepped into an old Italian family home. The food will undoubtedly be a highlight of this experience.

Our retreat will include twice-daily movement classes, nourishing cuisine inspired by Apulian traditions, a creative workshop, and plenty of opportunities to explore this captivating corner of southern Italy. • Full balance is due by January 22, 2027.

TRAVEL INFO

Airfare + transport not included — Palazzo Daniele is located in Gagliano del Capo at the southern tip of Puglia, approximately 1.5 hours from Brindisi (BDS) Airport and 2.5–3 hours from Bari (BRI) Airport. We highly recommend renting a car, as the surrounding region is full of charming villages, scenic coastal drives, and beautiful beaches well-worth exploring. Taxis and private transfers are also available if preferred.

The retreat begins at 4:00 PM on Thursday, April 22nd and wraps at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, April 28th. We recommend arriving either the day before or the morning of the retreat start to allow yourself ample time to settle in. Beginning the retreat with everyone present creates the most enriching experience for all.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Beautiful Nomad does not offer refunds for retreat deposits. Refunds for balance payments depend on the timing of your cancellation:

• Between 60 and 90 days before the retreat start date (January 22 - February 20, 2027): 50% refund of balance payments made, excluding the non-refundable deposit.

• Within 60 days of the retreat start date (on or after February 21, 2027): No refunds will be issued.

Please note that no exceptions will be made for cancellations due to weather, injury, illness, personal emergencies, late arrivals, or early departures. We strongly encourage all guests to purchase comprehensive travel insurance that includes trip cancellation coverage.

If Beautiful Nomad must cancel a retreat for any reason, guests may either transfer their full retreat payment to another retreat or request a refund of all payments made, excluding the non-refundable deposit (which may be applied toward another retreat), to the original payment method. Beautiful Nomad is not responsible for expenses incurred in preparation for the retreat, including airfare, loss of work, or other travel-related costs.
