What a gift it is to be returning to our most favorite Balearic isle for our third retreat at Es Bec D’ Aguila. The story of Es Bec d'Aguila (“The Eagle’s Beak”) took root in the 19th century when a family of Menorcan merchants built their weekend getaway home on the top of a hill surrounded by beautiful pastoral countryside. The family would retreat here to enjoy the wildlife, to hunt, and to entertain in the elegant house. The property was brought back to its bygone splendor with elements of classical Menorcan architecture and rediscovered hidden charms such as the exquisitely landscaped garden, authentic vaulted ceilings, and handmade tiles.

Menorca, the lower profile gem of the Balearics, is a wonderfully wild island. Boasting a rich diversity of fauna and flora, picturesque villages, and local culture, it’s a rough diamond with authentic Mediterranean charm. Located just six miles from the nearest beach, Es Bec d'Aguila is nestled on 150 acres of land at the heart of the island.

Come join us for six days of movement a la finca, leisurely dips in the magnificent pool, and daily aventuras to our most favorite calas and beaches. We will enjoy traditional Mediterranean cuisine, tap into our creative flow with an artisanal workshop, and enjoy the beauty, silence and understated luxury of this hilltop finca.

> LUJOSO ROOMS: our grandest rooms, with king bed + private bathroom (w tub or shower): $5500 per person if sharing / $9000 private

> AGUILA ROOMS: with king bed + private bathroom (w tub or shower): $5000 per person if sharing / $8000 private

> MUÑECA ROOM: attic room with six single beds + shared bathroom (w tub): $3300 per person

+ Prices are per person and include accommodation, workshops, meals, and activities.

+ A $1000 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your spot.

+ EARLY BIRD PRICING: Place your deposit by January 1, 2025 to save $200 on the above room rates.

+ Full balance due by April 1, 2025.

TRAVEL INFO

+ Airfare + transport not included — Es Bec d’Aguila is located approximately 20 minutes from the airport. Book your flight into Menorca (MAH) and either plan on renting a car (which we highly recommend as the island and beaches are well worth exploring) or taking a taxi.

+ The retreat will commence at 4:00pm on Sunday, July 13th and will come to a close at 12:00pm on Saturday, July 19th. We recommend that you plan to arrive either the day before the retreat starts, or the morning of the retreat to give yourself some ample cushion. It is quite ideal to commence the retreat with everyone present !

CANCELLATION POLICY

Beautiful Nomad does not offer refunds of any kind for the retreat deposit. Refunds for the balance payments vary depending on timing. Should you need to cancel with more than 90 days until the retreat start date (April 14th or earlier), you will be refunded 100% of the total amount (less deposit). Should you need to cancel within 60 to 90 days of the retreat start date (April 14-May 14), 50% of the total amount (less deposit) will be refunded. Finally, under no circumstance will there be any refunds given for cancellation requests made within 60 days of the retreat start date (after May 14). Exceptions cannot be made for any reason, including weather, injury/illness, or personal emergencies. We do not offer refunds or credit for a guest who fails to attend, arrives late, or leaves early.

Naturally, no one books with the intention of cancelling or postponing their retreat, but unexpected things do happen, so please consider purchasing travel insurance. 

If Beautiful Nomad must cancel a booked retreat date for any reason, you may transfer your full retreat payment to another retreat, or you may request a refund of your payment amount (less the deposit which can be applied to another retreat) to your original payment method. Beautiful Nomad is not responsible for your expenses incurred in preparation for any cancelled retreat, such as airline tickets, loss of work, and/or other costs associated with preparing for your trip.
